This Cookie Policy explains how RAITEC3D RAINHA TECNOLOGIES 3D UNIPESSOAL, LDA. ("Raitec 3D", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website raitec3d.com (the "Website"), what information they collect, why we use them and how you can control them at any time.

This Policy is a supplement to, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy. It applies to all visitors to the Website, whose personal data we process in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"), Directive 2002/58/EC (the "ePrivacy Directive") and Portuguese Law no. 41/2004 of 18 August, as amended, which implements that Directive in Portugal.

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit it. Cookies allow the Website to recognise your device, remember your choices and, in some cases, analyse how the Website is used. A cookie does not identify you by name; it identifies the browser or device you are using.

Alongside cookies, this Website also uses other local storage technologies which are covered by this Policy and by the same consent requirements:

• Local storage (localStorage): data stored in your browser without an expiry date; it remains until you delete it or until the website removes it.

• Strictly necessary / functional items are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are exempt from consent. They cannot be switched off.
• Preferences, statistics and marketing items are placed only after you give consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent is optional, granular and may be withdrawn at any time.

We do not use pre-ticked boxes, cookie walls or "implied consent" from scrolling. No non-essential item is placed before you actively accept it.

We use the Complianz consent management platform to request, record and manage your consent. On your first visit, a banner allows you to:

• Accept all categories;
• Deny, in which case only strictly necessary items are placed;
• View preferences and consent to each category separately.

"Deny" is presented with the same prominence as "Accept". Your choice is stored for 365 days, after which you will be asked again. Complianz also keeps a proof-of-consent record (consent date, policy version and categories accepted), which we retain in order to demonstrate compliance under Article 7(1) GDPR.

Note on Google reCAPTCHA: this service is used exclusively to protect the contact form against automated abuse. Because it is necessary for the security and availability of a service you have expressly requested, it is classified as functional. Google may nevertheless process your IP address and interaction data (see section 8).

Note on Complianz: depending on your configuration and the version installed, Complianz may also set additional first-party consent-administration items such as cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_policy_id, cmplz_banner-status and cmplz_saved_categories. These serve the same purpose (remembering your cookie choices) and are functional.

7.2 Preferences (consent required)

This Website does not currently place any dedicated preferences item beyond those listed as functional above. The category remains available in the consent banner so that any such item added in the future is only placed after you consent to it.

7.3 Statistics (consent required)

Statistical measurement is only activated after you consent to the "Statistics" category. Where the configuration allows, IP anonymisation and data-sharing restrictions are applied.

7.4 Marketing (consent required)

Embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps are blocked by Complianz until you consent to the "Marketing" category. If you deny consent, you will see a placeholder with the option to load the content on a case-by-case basis.

8. Third-party providers and international data transfers

Some of the items described above are set by third parties who act as independent controllers or as processors for their own purposes. We do not control those items and we recommend that you consult the providers' own policies:

Transfers outside the EEA. Where a service is provided by a company established in the United States, your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023), to which Google LLC adheres, and/or on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary technical and organisational measures. • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR);
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
